Crytek shows off Warface

Crytek have announced their next title, {Warface}, at an event in South Korea. Co-produced at Crytek and Crytek Seoul, the online first person shooter is targeted squarely at the Korean and Asian market of free-to-play online games.

"Our passion is to always deliver the best gaming experience possible. That's why we opened our Crytek Seoul office in 2008 which today enables us to offer a game that is tailored to suit its market. We're excited to debut with {Warface} in South Korea and to deliver a compelling and truly unique experience soon." said Cevat Yerli, CEO & President of Crytek.

{Warface} makes use of CryEngine 3.0 and features a near future military setting. The game will offer a "constantly updated" PVE universe with co-operative focus as well as a classed PVP.
