Valve has confirmed that {Counter-Strike: Global Offensive} is set to be released on August 21.

Interestingly, Valve also revealed that the game will be released across all platforms (XBLA, PSN and Steam) with a universal price of $15 (we'll wait to see what that converts to in GBP and MS Points).
