Rise and Fall of the White Wolf?
French development partner Widescreen Games have sent out a press release confirming that the development of Atari's and CD Projekt Red's console version of the popular RPG {The Witcher} has been frozen. Citing financial problem that needs to be resolved the French developer is now focusing on other projects. Hopefully these problems can be fixed, but it is never a good sign that development stops. Here is a quote from the press release:
"We regret this measure, particularly on behalf of the fans who were impatiently awaiting the release of the game. I hope that we can find an amicable solution with our present and former partners involved in this ambitious project," commented Olivier Masclef, manager at Widescreen Games."
