CoD WWII's microtransactions pushed back until next week

They were supposed to be active yesterday.

EA and Star Wars: Battlefront II has been receiving some major heat over its system for loot boxes and microtransactions lately, but they're not alone in pushing this sort of business model.

In {Call of Duty: WWII} you will be able to get loot boxes by buying COD points with real money. It's important to note, however, that in {Call of Duty: WWII}, this mostly only offers cosmetics and XP bonuses, not abilities and character boosts as in Star Wars. While this feature was supposed to land in Activision game yesterday (Thursday, November 14), the virtual currency will now arrive on November 21.

Publishers are currently under fire for their propensity to take advantage of the micro-transaction system. We can imagine that Activision has preferred to give itself the time to fine-tune its formula before unleashing it on the general public.

What do you think of loot boxes and microtransactions?
