Check out the first Ghost in the Shell trailer

Yesterday Paramount Pictures unveiled the first trailer for the film version of Masamune Shirow's manga Ghost in the Shell, originally released in 1989. As you might know, Scarlet Johansson got the honour of playing the protagonist The Major, and will lead her task force Section 9 against various cyber gangsters.

At first, a lot of people were sceptical of the choice of Johansson, but the trailer has convinced at least us that she just might be the right person for this job, as she looks excellent and the presentation is almost up there with Shirow's work. Ghost in the Shell is released March 31 in the US, and hopefully in Europe as well.
