Charts: US 2009 (PC)

While the market for PC games continues to plummet in the US (at least at retail) some games still manage to do well. {The Sims 3} became the best-selling PC game in America last year, by beating the most recent {World of Warcraft} expansion. Activision and EA combined for the top nine titles released in the year, with Sega being the only other publisher to register a top ten entry with {Empire: Total War}.
