Capcom Vancouver cuts back

Reports surfaced yesterday of lay-offs at Capcom Vancouver (formerly known as Blue Castle Games). As it turns out 20 people (7 %) of the staff has been let go and the studio tweeted out the following messages:

"Capcom Vancouver has let go 7% of our employees as a result of unsuitable fit with the studio goals."

It caused a bit of confusion as the studio is still actively recruiting staff:

"We're still growing and aggressively seeking great talent."

Capcom Vancouver have most recently developed {Dead Rising 2} and {Dead Rising 2: Off the Record}. No information on their next project is available.
