Boon: I'm not a professional actor

Ed Boon won't voice Injustice.

Our Spanish editor David Caballero met up with one of the original creators of the {Mortal Kombat} franchise, Ed Boon, to discuss his next game - {Injustice: Gods Among Us}.

This is what Ed Boon had to say about the inevitable comparisons between {Injustice: Gods Among Us} and the {Mortal Kombat} series:

"Because we're NetherRealm Studios and we made {Mortal Kombat} I think it's natural that people would ask the question if we're making a new game, you know, is it going to have {Mortal Kombat} features in it? Our answer to that is, this is a unique game, it's different, we're not following any kind of {Mortal Kombat} template or anything. So this game is all about over the top big events - throwing cars, throwing people through buildings, knocking people into outer space, things like that. And {Mortal Kombat} is more violence, and blood, and all the kind of crazy fatalities that we have in the game."

Sadly, Ed Boon won't be voicing any of the characters in the game:

"I've done voices for {Mortal Kombat} for 20 years, but I haven't done any of the [voices in Injustice]. This is all professional actors and I'm not a professional actor."
