Black Future '88 launch date confirmed

{Black Future '88} is synth-punk roguelike 2D action shooter, where the whole world suffers from a nuclear cataclysm caused by a tower architect, Duncan. He launched the first bomb in the summer of 1988 and the disaster brought the endless rain, the sun is nowhere to be seen, and people simply stop keeping time: it's been 1988 ever since.

With that being the case, players only have 18 minutes to conquer the tower, fight all the way to the top, and kill the architect and stop the endless nuclear rain. The destiny of all humanity is in your hands (which is probably for the best, we played a while back and died A LOT).

If that all sounds like fun and games to you, then we have some good news. Developer Superscarysnakes and publisher Good Shepherd Entertainment have announced that Black Future '88 will arrive digitally on PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch on November 21, 2019.

The game will support local co-op, but you will have the option to play online with a friend, and only one of you needs to own the game (on PC) since Black Future '88 will fully support Steam's new Remote Play Together Feature at launch.

There is also a planned physical release for Nintendo Switch, which will be available in retail stores in 2020.
