Arkham Origins not going next-gen

Batman will not appear on Xbox One or PS4, and character announcement coming this week.

Arkham Origins not going next-gen

Any hopes that fans had that {Batman: Arkham Origins} would make it over to next-gen consoles have been dashed, as senior producer Ben Mattes has made it clear that it is not going to happen.

Via his Twitter account, Mattes said: "I can 100% confirm that Arkham Origins will only ship on the announced platforms. It is not coming to PS4 or Xbox One."

The reason behind the decision to stick to the current console generation has yet to be revealed, but could a next-gen Batman game already be in the works over at Rocksteady?
