Anthem patch lets console players turn on HDR
Problems causing the game to crash have also been solved as part of Bioware's ongoing commitment to the game and the issues players are reporting.
Bioware and EA's Anthem may have topped the UK physical charts, but that doesn't mean that there haven't been problems with the game. The reviews have been quite mixed (you can check ours out here), and one problem consoles players have had revolves around HDR.
Previously HDR support wasn't enabled for those on PS4 and Xbox One, but as of Saturday, February 23, this has now been fixed so it can be "properly turned on". What's more is that the same patch also brings a fix to make the boss in Return to the Heart of Rage mission and stronghold appear if a squad wipes before reaching it. A number of other issues have also been fixed, which had been causing players to crash.
"We are continuing to investigate additional issues that the community have been reporting and will provide more updates on when they will be fixed," Bioware adds.
Bioware has already addressed plenty of these concerns since players got the full game on February 22 and started playing it early via Origin Access the week before, but that still hasn't stopped people from being critical of the game.
Have you been having fun with Anthem?
