A look at Minecraft beta 1.5

If you follow Notch on Twitter or on his blog, you can get sporadic insights into Mojang's continued work on {Minecraft}. Minecraft 1.4 introduced tameable wolves to the sandbox game, and with 1.5 we seem to be getting some fancy weather effects - including snow. Mojang released the following video from the upcoming patch, and it does look sweet - I am not sure I dare to watch it again though, since I can feel that Minecraft-itch setting in again...
