Here is the LEC Winter Split playoffs bracket

The eight attending teams are locked in.

The {Winter Split} for the {League of Legends EMEA Championship} is almost over, as following a bunch of weeks of regular season action the playoffs are set to kick off as soon as this weekend and run until February 18. With that event coming up, {Riot Games} has confirmed the bracket for the playoffs, meaning we know the eight attending teams and likewise who they will each take on first.

In the first round of the upper bracket, the initial four games are as follows:

  • G2 Esports vs. GiantX

  • MAD Lions KOI vs. Fnatic

  • Team BDS vs. Team Heretics

  • SK Gaming vs. Team Vitality

The winners of these games will advance to the next stage of the upper bracket whereas the losers will drop to the lower bracket where they will fight each other to avoid being knocked out.

As for what the playoffs will be rewarding, €80,000 is on offer alongside a slate of {Championship Points}, which will be vital for seeding for major events later this season.
