Dragon's Den gets game, trailer

Wii and DS owners! Put away your pitchforks and torches! Lay down your weapons of justice and rest easy: this one isn't coming to your neck of the woods.

Instead, if you'd kindly follow these instructions:

1) Locate a friend or person who owns an iPhone and treats it as a reason to act superior to you. This is preferable if you're in a social situation with gaming friends.

2) Point at them, and in a loud voice announce to the world at large that although you've had some train wreck titles spun for casual market consumption on your consoles in your time (dramatic pause for effect) they'll soon be exclusively getting a videogame version of BBC show Dragon's Den on their handheld device.

3) Join in with the laughter as they get two thousand points knocked off their cool factor.

4) Bonus points if you can play make them play trailer below on their iPhone.

While we shouldn't be surprised that another television show is making its way to a casual gaming experience, we're slightly mystified how its going to translate the random absurdity of the show.

Do you pick one random idea from a group and try and sell it winningly for maximum profit? Is there going to be branching conversation options ala Mass Effect or Deus Ex to try and swing as many Dragons in your favour? Is there a chance to design your own barking mad creation?

Admittedly, we're intrigued at how much of a car wreck this idea could be. Needless to say we'll save you your hard-earned cash by finding out for you when Dragon's Den: The Official Game hits the App Store. For now, just watch the trailer.
