VGAs: Elder Scrolls V announced

The American Spike TV Video Games Awards have kicked off in style as Bethesda's Todd Howard has just came on stage, surrounded by monks no less, to announce a new Elder Scrolls title and debut a trailer and reveal a release date.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will hit retail shelves November 11, 2011 - 11/11/11. That's right folks, the newest entry into the critically-acclaimed fantasy series will be be out within a year's time. Start booking your holidays as soon as you get into work on Monday.
