RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures dated on Nintendo Switch
Manage your own park on the go.
Two new RollerCoaster Tycoon games are coming to consoles this year, as Atari Games has announced release dates for a few titles, including two entries in the popular sim franchise and four mobile games created by different studios.
From October 23 you can head to the European PlayStation Store to download RollerCoaster Tycoon Joyride for PlayStation 4, created by Nvizzio Creations and fully compatible with PSVR, but the twist to the experience is not the Virtual Reality, but shooting and exploding targets to compete for the first place on the leaderboards. Joyride will launch in the USA in early 2019.
The next option is the Nintendo Switch exclusive RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures, and thanks to the Joy-Cons and touchscreen controls, Atari thinks this is the most accessible entry in the series. Bigben Interactive is the publisher of Adventures on the Nintendo Switch eShop, coming in November, while the American version will release in Q1 2019.
Atari also has a few games on mobile in the coming months, these being Ninja Golf, developed by Alpha Dog Studios, on February 26; Days of Doom, developed by Phosphor Studios, on December 14 (beta version, with a final release planned for February 19); Food Truck Frenzy, created in association with Jonathan Foodgod, on December 20; and Citytopia by Nvizzio Creations, on December 13.
Are you excited for more Rollercoaster Tycoon though?
