Rocket League's RocketID feature has been delayed again
There's plenty of content coming by the end of the year though.
Vehicular football game Rocket League is always getting updates to bring new features to fans, and now game director Scott Rudi has shared more information on what's coming this autumn, which won't be RocketID, unfortunately.
Rudi explains that this feature has been delayed into early 2019, but it's not all doom and gloom, as Sony's recent announcements regarding cross-play means that the team can make more changes to RocketID to prepare it for all platforms if they get permission.
"We're working incredibly hard to ensure that it's as intuitive, stable, and polished as possible, before releasing it to the world. We know the wait has been frustrating for many of you who are eager for this feature, and we thank you for your patience as we continue to work on cross-platform support," he writes.
One update is still left for the end of the year though, which is planned for an early December release, including enhanced Xbox One X support with support for 4K and 60 FPS, not to mention HDR. More details will be coming on this soon.
The next Rocket Pass will also be coming in December, bringing new items alongside another licensed premium DLC. Rudi adds that the team are closely monitoring Rocket Pass to see how they can improve it too, asking for feedback as always.
Another in-game event is also coming our way in the middle of December too, called Frosty Fest, letting you earn snowflakes for holiday-themed items, including a Golden Gift, with more details being revealed soon.
Which of the above are you most excited for?
