Rain World gets release date and release trailer
Slugcat gets here faster than we could have hoped.
Adult Swim Games has announced a release date for the platform game Rain World on their official Twitter account, revealing that the survival platform game will arrive on PlayStation 4 and PC on March 28.
Rain World started life in January 2014 as a Kickstarter-project, where it raised $63,255 US dollars. In the game you are a nomadic slugcat, both predator and prey in a broken ecosystem. Intense heavy rains fall down on the surface and makes life impossible for most of the year, and the dry season has just arrived, providing the perfect opportunity for gathering and hunting food for the next hibernation cycle... but other bigger creatures have the same plan.
Developer Videocult also unveiled a release trailer to celebrate the announcement, which can be watched down below. Does this platformer have enough to distinguish itself from others out there?
