Splatoon 2 will have a single-player campaign

If you were concerned that {Splatoon 2} may not have a single-player campaign, then the latest news to come from Broken Joystick will no doubt be a relief, as a Nintendo rep has confirmed to them that the sequel will indeed have a single-player campaign, one that's set two years after the first.

The original did have such a story mode as well, so this isn't a huge surprise if it's true, but to be extra sure we'll need official confirmation from Nintendo. Is this an important aspect of {Splatoon}, or are you more interested in the multiplayer?
