Try Titanfall 2 for free this weekend

If you haven't got your hands on the great Titanfall 2 yet (check out our review), now is your chance. Respawn and EA have announced that the game's multiplayer can be played for free on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One this weekend. EA Access and Origin Access will actually get to try it for more than a weekend, as they can start playing it tomorrow. Everyone else will join them on Friday, with the trial ending on Sunday.

We're not talking about a limited version here, as every map and mode is playable, including the upcoming "Angel City's Most Wanted" update. Speaking of the update, EA has also given us a gameplay trailer showing the remastered Angel City map. They've also detailed the first batch of paid cosmetic items:

• Prime Titans: These all new chassis change the shape of the Ion and Scorch Titans, also unlocking new sound effects and a devastating new execution.

• Angel City's Most Wanted Titan Art Packs: Customise your Titan with five new Nose Arts and an exclusive Warpaint skin. Each of the 6 Multiplayer Titans will have their own art packs.

• Angel City's Most Wanted Titan Callsign pack: Includes instant access to 20 new, exclusive Callsigns with 10 Callsign patches.

• Angel City's Most Wanted Camo Pack: Includes 20 new, exclusive Camos that can be applied to every Titan, Titan Weapon, Pilot, and Pilot Weapon.

• Nitro Scorch Pack: Featuring a special Nitro Warpaint and Firebrand Nose Art customisation for the Scorch Titan as well as the unique GOLD Beast Mode Callsign.

• Deluxe Upgrade Pack: Includes Prime upgrades for Ion and Scorch, Excalibur Chrome Warpaints and Thunderbird Nose Arts, as well as the Splinter Ocean and Quantum Ocean Camos for every Titan, Pilot, and Weapon in the game.
