Overwatch has an official release date

Earlier today IGN was a bit early in publishing an Overwatch ad that unveiled that the game will launch on May 24 and now Blizzard has confirmed it.

{Overwatch} will launch on May 24 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but we'll get a open beta on May 5. It'll last till May 9, and if you pre-order the game for the consoles you'll get two days early access to it, plus an extra code for a friend.
