Will Alan Wake 2 be announced tonight?

Two weeks ago {Alan Wake's American Nightmare} became playable on Xbox One thanks to backward compatibility. But maybe you don't want to play Wake's old adventures? Then how about a new one? If so, you might get your wish granted.

We're saying this because Remedy has registered a trademark for "Alan Wake's Return" at the European Union database.

Not only that. They chose to use Fasttrack, a more speedy way of doing it. Is this just a coincidence, or could it be that this return will be unveiled at the Xbox/PC event tonight?
