Sony copyrights "Playstation Arc"

Konami follows up with "Gradius Arc"

According to Silconera, both Sony and Konamu have copyrighted the name "Arc" in Japan. For the former it's the name "Playstation Arc", which has been the rumored name for their motion controler, while the latter has patented "Gradius Arc". A coincidence? Probably not, but hopefully we'll find out more at GDC next week.

If Gradius Arc is a motion controlled shoot 'em up you're aiming in the wrong direction, bud.
