Prisonscape makes a break for Kickstarter

There's been a couple of interesting games casting their eye over prison life in recent months, with both {The Escapists} and {Prison Architect} catching our attention. Well, you can add {Prisonscape} to that list.

The difference between Heaviest Matter's game and the aforementioned titles is tone, with {Prisonscape} painting a much harsher picture of prison life, rather than falling back on comic storytelling.

The studio are introducing crafting, exploration, grid-based tactical combat and RPG systems, all set against a backdrop of a "gritty, uncompromising atmosphere" of life behind bars.

The game is currently on Kickstarter, and is aiming to raise just shy of $50k. If it hits that target it'll be heading to PC, Mac and Linux.
