PS Vita gets redesign

Sony have announced a new version of the PS Vita this morning as part of their latest Japanese conference.

The new Vita will be 20% thinner than its predecessor, 15% lighter and replaces the OLED screen with a LCD one. This new version is wi-fi only, with the changes meaning the unit's reduced cost - it's retailing for 20,000 yen (about £128).

The console will also have 16GB of storage, and battery capacity has also increased to six hours. The console's also coming in a range of colours, which you can check out (along with the trailer debuting the new look) below.
