As suspected, this one's been confirmed as an April Fool's. Eidos Montreal last night Tweeted: "When it was decided "Human Defiance" wouldn't be used we took the opportunity to have a little fun. Hope you guys had a laugh :)".

{Deus Ex: Human Defiance} was registered as a domain name and was spotted just last month. Whether it's something to do with a larger project, yet to be announced, or whether it was simply in preparation for today's April Fool remains to be seen. Either way, the following trailer is well worth a look.
