Brütal Legend case settled

Earlier this summer Activision Blizzard sued {Brütal Legend} developers Double Fine claiming they still held rights to the {Brütal Legend} game they had shunned. Meanwhile, Double Fine countersued claiming that Activision were merely trying to protect their {Guitar Hero} series from competition (apparently Activision attempted to make {Brütal Legend} a part of their {Guitar Hero} series before they let it go).

Activision attorneys informed the court on Wednesday that a settlement has been reached. This means that the release of {Brütal Legend} is still on for mid October.
