Mass Effect dragged into shooting

The tragic school shooting in Connecticut has brought EA and {Mass Effect} some unwanted attention. Apparently the person originally thought to be the shooter, 24 year-old Ryan Lanza likes {Mass Effect} on Facebook and Mashable.com reported how the {Mass Effect} facebook page was flooded with outraged people in need of something to blame. Turns out it was Ryan's younger brother Adam Lanza, 20 year-old, who was responsible for the killings.

Neither EA or Bioware have commented on the subject. And perhaps it should be pointed out that the whole idea with {Mass Effect} is to safe humanity and the whole galaxy from a race of sentient machines.
