Activision announce Wipeout 3
Kinect/Wii game based on TV show.
Activision and ABC Entertainment have today announced {Wipeout 3}, a game based on the TV show (and not the popular sci-fi racer). The game will be released on Kinect for Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS and Wii, and is set for sometime in Q3.
Matt Kunitz, Wipeout's creator, said: "Much of Wipeout's success has stemmed from the fact that people of all ages enjoy the show. We want to capture that essence with {Wipeout 3} so that kids, parents, and even grandparents can plunge into this easy-to-learn, zany game."
{Wipeout 3} will let gamers take on obstacle courses and over-the-top challenges, and is set to include split-screen multiplayer and team modes (for up to four players).
Admittedly, this screen is taken from {Wipeout: The Game}, but we imagine the content will be somewhat similar.
