Unreal Engine 4 at GDC
Epic to show off new tech.
Epic Games has announced that they will be demonstrating their next-gen engine, Unreal Engine 4, at this years GDC (March 5 - 9).
The company will be showing the new technology to "select licensees, partners and prospective customers" during the event. Non-disclosure agreements are required for anyone who makes it into the Epic exhibition to see the new engine in action. Last year the company released the Samaritan trailer (see below), and there will be many people eager to see what the new engine is capable of.
Epic will be doing the usual business and tech meetings for Unreal Engine 3, as they seek out potential new users for what they describe as "the best toolset available for AAA game development." Company design director Cliff Bleszinski is also set to host the Game Developer Choice Awards.
